Rodney Scott's whole hog barbecue is served inside Chief's on Broadway, Eric Church's multi-level venue on Lower Broadway.1 Chief's opened in March 2024 as Eric Church's six-story Lower Broadway bar, with a whole hog barbecue restaurant on the rooftop serving meats from James Beard Award winner Rodney Scott.2
The rooftop counter is called Hell of a Q, with views over Broadway.3 It opened April 5, 2024 as the first Tennessee location of Scott's restaurants, run with Nick Pihakis of Pihakis Restaurant Group. Scott was named Best Chef: Southeast by the James Beard Foundation in 2018.4
