Single Tree BBQ

Army veteran Charlie Eblen's wood-fired brisket in Murfreesboro, named for his grandfather's farm.

Why go

Founder and president Charlie Eblen started Single Tree after more than 25 years with major restaurant companies.1 The name comes from Single Tree Farm, named by his grandfather.1 Eblen served in the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout. He bought a smoker in October 2020 and started selling barbecue from there.24

The brick-and-mortar opened in 2023 with partner Brent O'Dell, cooking over a 100% wood fire pit best known for Texas-style brisket.234
