Pollard's started as a mobile catering business in 1995, then opened as a small carry-out on October 7, 1996, at Shelby Drive and Boeingshire.1 On September 26, 2011, it moved to the Elvis Presley strip in Whitehaven as a dine-in restaurant, with a renovation by Food Network chef Robert Irvine of Restaurant Impossible.1
